The psych was out walking with his grandmother when grannie spotted a coin in the road. She exclaimed, “Oh my, a quarter!” and darted out to get it, but was run over by a semi-truck. The psych was embarrassed that his grandmother would mistake a nickel for a quarter.

American shrink Walter Freeman performed over 3,500 psychosurgical lobotomies during his illustrious career. He characterized the lobotomy as "mercy killing of the psyche .... patients ... must sacrifice some of the virtue, of the driving force, creative spirit or soul." Seems, there's always a downside.

Having now "solved" the problem of child attention deficit, certain shrinks are now attacking the problem of puberty. Castration has been recognized for centuries as a solution to aggression. That "treatment" is based on the theory that sexual urge and aggressive behavior are intimately connected. Thus, chemical castration seems to be the way to go. A castration drug could be given to all children from 12 to 18 years old. Side effects are currently unknown.
